Come learn and play at the the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Pre-K/Head Start Program!
The Chapel Hill-Carrboro Pre-K/Head Start Program will be having its new student registration soon. Pre-K/Head Start provides three- and four-year-olds with valuable pre-kindergarten skills by enhancing their cognitive, social and emotional development.
Classrooms sites are located in 10 elementary schools in Chapel Hill and Carrboro (including four dual-language classrooms). Head Start and NC Pre-K placements are available to qualifying families at no cost. We also offer tuition and childcare subsidy placements. Registration will take place from January 22 to February 23, 2018. Parents can call the Pre-K/Head Start office at (919) 918-2153 starting on January 2 to make an appointment to submit their completed application. Applications will be available in our office and online starting January 2, 2018.
